Virtual Tour: Campground B Connection Trail

Campground B Connection Trail is a .2 mile, moderate difficulty connector trail that takes hikers from the Plantation trail up a small hill to the road near campground B. This trail is notable for the unmarked graves of several slaves that probably once served on the plantation. The site is now marked with an interpretive sign and serves as a reminder of this area's storied past.

"When my husband and I were engaged, we took our soon to be "blended" family to Hungry Mother State Park for our first attempt at bringing together our three girls. He has two and I have one. One morning we decided to take the oldest daughter for a hike on Molly's Knob. We did the entire trail and the views were magnificent. More importantly I was able to start that relationship with the oldest daughter that I hold dear twenty-one years later. Thank you Hungry Mother State Park for a memory we'll…"
