Virtual Tour: Dogwood Ridge Trail

The Dogwood Ridge Trail is a 0.7 mile, moderate loop that starts and ends at the trail head just northwest of the day use area. The trail is a liesurely walk through a hardwood forest of hickory, yellow poplar, red oak, beech and pine trees near the picnic area. This trail has a few more inclines to climb than others in the park but is still quite manageable.

"When my husband and I were engaged, we took our soon to be "blended" family to Hungry Mother State Park for our first attempt at bringing together our three girls. He has two and I have one. One morning we decided to take the oldest daughter for a hike on Molly's Knob. We did the entire trail and the views were magnificent.
