Virtual Tour: High Dune Trail

A short 1/4 mile trail takes you up and over a maritime forest dune ridge. From the top of the High Dune, hikers can see the beautiful lowland areas and mysterious cypress pools. The trail can be reached from Cape Henry Trail or the second leg of Bald Cypress Trail.

"When my husband and I were engaged, we took our soon to be "blended" family to Hungry Mother State Park for our first attempt at bringing together our three girls. He has two and I have one. One morning we decided to take the oldest daughter for a hike on Molly's Knob. We did the entire trail and the views were magnificent.
