The Vir-Mar Trail is a .3 mile, easy trail provides access to the Wash Woods Environmental Education center, the former Swan Hunt Club, a seasonal duck hunting club, and now an interpretive center that overlooks the Back Bay Wildlife Refuge.

"When my husband and I were engaged, we took our soon to be "blended" family to Hungry Mother State Park for our first attempt at bringing together our three girls. He has two and I have one. One morning we decided to take the oldest daughter for a hike on Molly's Knob. We did the entire trail and the views were magnificent.
