There are interpretive and educational activities in the park during the summer season. These activities include hikes, campfires, canoe programs, wagon rides, crafts, and many more. These opportunities are fun for the whole family, from the youngest member to the oldest. For a complete schedule, please call the Visitor's Center at 434-572-4623.
The park also conducts educational activities for school groups, scout troops, church groups, etc. You can book these activities in advance by contacting the Visitor's Center. These activities are provided year round as long as there is sufficient staff on hand.
