There are seven picnic areas located throughout the park. The Green Hill Picnic areas and the Canoe Landing Picnic area offer scenic views of the James River. There are 6 picnic shelters throughout the park that can be reserved. All are ADA accessible and seat approximately 75 people. Each shelter has a large and small charcoal pedestal grill. Shelters 1 & 4 are located next to restrooms. Shelters 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 have a water hydrant and shelters 1, 4, & 5 have a light and electric receptacle. In addition there is a smaller picnic shelter in the Branch Pond area that has a fireplace.
