Canoeing And Kayaking at Hungry Mother State Park

Boating visitors to the park may launch canoes and kayaks from the dock near the boathouse, which is situated close to the picnic area and restaurant. Here they may also rent out the parks canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, jonboats, and mountainbikes. Jonboat users may bring their own electric motors to attach but gasoline motors are not permitted. The boathouse where items are rented also sells last minute supplies and offers vending. People wishing to launch their own johnboat in the park may do so at the ramp accessible from route 617. Users of this ramp are on their honor to pay all required fees in the lockbox.
