Wildlife Activities at False Cape State Park

To the immediate north of False Cape State Park is the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Each year, Back Bay provides wintering habitat for thousands of migratory species including ducks, geese and swans. Various species of plants, birds, animals and reptiles can be found within the watershed including federally listed threatened and endangered species such as the Bald Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, and Eastern Glass Lizard.Naturally, much of this wildlife can be found in False Cape as well.
