The park has three campgrounds and a primitive group camp area. All campgrounds are accessible from the main park road near the park office and contact station. Bathhouses are located in campgrounds A and C. Campgrounds A, B, and C offer campsites with electrical and water hookups and campground B offers sites for RV access. Campground A offers standard tent only sites and the group camp area offers primitive camping and, like all campgrounds, have picnic tables and outdoor grills. RV sites are limited in size. Recommended allowed length is 35ft which is the combined length of the tow vehicle and camping unit. Guests with equipment larger than 35 ft risk damaging their equipment. A burn ban is in effect from midnight to 4 p.m. Feb. 15 to April 30. Reservations are made by contacting the Virginia State Parks Reservation center or online reservations are also an option.
