Enjoy Fall Foliage on New River Trail

I love this time of year. The colors are beautiful. The air is brisk. I love to watch as day by day the brilliant colors of fall over take the green leaves of summer. There is no denying the relaxing effects of fall.

On October 23-24 and 30-31, 2012 New River Trail State Park will offer a program that will allow its participants the chance to experience fall foliage along the New River Trail!

This program is a great opportunity of people of all ages and fitness levels. Guests can enjoy a guided van tour along 40 miles of an old railroad route while learning more about natural and cultural history of the region. This trip includes brochures and a boxed lunch. You may bring extra snacks and drinks along on the trip.
