The close of the summer season is just around the corner, where did the time go? It seemed to just fly by; I guess the saying is true “time flies while you’re having fun!”
The pools and beaches at the parks will close after Labor Day, seasonal staff will say goodbye and leave us to start back to school. Most of the vacationers who stayed in our campgrounds or cabins will now head home to settle into their routines. Summer is almost officially over.
The good news is the Pocahontas Premieres concert series is still in full swing at Pocahontas State Park!
The Richmond Symphony is featured on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 6 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. Admission is Free. A $5 parking fee applies. Bring the whole family to enjoy one more warm summer night in the outdoors. For concert information, click here, or call the park office at 804-796-4255 or email.
