37th Annual Pork, Peanut & Pine Festival

On July 21st and July 22nd, 2012 the Pork, Peanut & Pine Festival is coming to Chippokes Plantation State Park!  Admission for this event is $5 per person and children under 10 get in free!

This event is fun and family friendly, and draws thousands of visitors each year. At the festival there will be numerous vendors, children's activities, delicious food, and live entertainment. The Gas & Steam Engine Show is also joining with the festival for the first time this year.

The Live entertainment schedule is as follows:

Saturday July 21st, 2012 on the River Road Stage

10:00 - 10:15  Opening Ceremonies

10:15 - 11:15  Gospel Country Messengers

11:30 - 12:30  E Z Street Band

12:30 - 1:00    Parade

1:00 - 2:00      Flatland Bluegrass Band

2:30 - 3:30   Nikki Headley Ministries

4:00 - 5:00   Nansemond River Boys

Sunday July 22nd, 2012 on the River Road Stage

10:00 - 11:00  Common Ground

11:30 - 1:00    Dave Cynar

1:30 - 3:00      Heather Edwards Band

3:30 - 5:00      Hard Knox

The Pork, Peanut & Pine Festival harkens back to the time of the "old-fashioned" country fair. It's a great way to reconnect with the past and make new memories for the future!
