Just under a month ago I wrote about the wonderful opportunity for one of our parks to win $100,000 from the Coca-Cola Live Positively Campaign. All you needed to do was vote for your favorite park (hopefully a Virginia State Park).
Now, nearly one month into the program with less than a month to go, I am asking everyone to vote for Mason Neck State Park. Thanks to some determined supporters of Mason Neck State Park, we believe that our only chance to win the Coke money is if we pool our votes and throw them all to Mason Neck.

As of this writing, Mason Neck is eighth and we have a chance to at least achieve one of the top three prizes. They were also near the top last year but we did not make this effort to push voting for Mason Neck in time to make a difference.

LOCATION: The park is in southern Fairfax County, about 20 miles from Washington, D.C. Access to the park is via U.S. 1, then five miles east on Route 242 (Gunston Road) to the park entrance.
