Love is in the Air - with the new Virginia State Parks advertising campaign!
Yes, we all know that Virginia is For Lovers - in 2009 the slogan celebrated it's 40th birthday by being added to the Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame. This year, Virginia State Parks celebrates this slogan as a park visitor named Virginia writes postcards to friends and family members bragging about their wonderful vacation to a Virginia State Park. Whether you visit for a day or a week, there is so much to love about Virginia State Parks!
You can download the digital version of our annual color brochure by clicking here, or pick it up at a Virginia Welcome Center or Tourism Office. The new format emphasizes the many fun things to see and do at our thirty five state parks across the state.
Starting next month you will see our commercials that run as part of our tremendous partnership with the Virginia Association of Broadcasters. As soon as the commercial is up on our You Tube Channel, I will send you the link. Virginia and her family are featured in the commercial. When you see our ads in local and regional publications, post cards will be featured prominently as part of the theme.
COMING SOON: When you visit a Virginia State Park cabin, we will provide a couple of complementary post cards (while supplies last) for you to share with YOUR friends and family. And, don't forget to talk about the great time you have on Twitter and Facebook!

The Center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
