If that sounds like your idea of a good weekend, Virginia State Parks has the weekend for you. Sept. 28-30, 2012, Claytor Lake State Park in Dublin, VA will host the eighth Women’s Wellness Weekend.
These weekends are designed just for women looking to reduce stress, learn about nature and enjoy the great outdoors. Come with friends or by yourself and make some new friends, this makes a great weekend retreat to rejuvenate.

Claytor Lake State Park is popular and likely to have a limited number of cabins available so all reservations associated with Women's Wellness Weekend require a minimum of three people. Campsites are also available for those wishing to pitch tents or bring an RV. The campsites have water and electric hookups, and are near a full-service bathhouse.

Pre-registration is required and the cost is $179 plus the cost of lodging. Sharing lodging makes the cabin or campsite fees very reasonable and with a variety of overnight facilities, there is something for everyone. If you live close by and prefer to sleep at home, no problem! Local guests who register without lodging can participate in all of the activities!
