It's Croaker Time at York River State Park

Join park staff for the first annual "Adult Saltwater Fishing Fanatic Tournament"  at York River State Park in
Williamsburg.  On Saturday, May 22 from 6am-4pm, adults age 16 and up can partricipate in this saltwater Croaker fishing tournament. 

Participants fishing from the Croaker Landing fishing pier do not need a fishing license.  However, those fishing from their own boats or off the shoreline must have a valid saltwater fishing license.  Saltwater Fishing licenses are available from the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries at  www.dgif.virginia.gov.
