Claytor Lake State Park Weddings

Virginia State Parks has something for everyone when it comes to planning a wedding. 

Claytor Lake State Park is located in Dublin, Virginia and is set on a beautiful 4,500 acre lake.  This is the perfect setting for an indoor or outdoor wedding.

Claytor Lake has a gorgeous backdrop of the lake down by the Gazebo.  Antique looking lampposts line the brick walkway down to the gazebo.  The lake stretches out behind for a picturesque wedding location.

The grounds surrounding the gazebo make a perfect place for bridal portraits or wedding photos afterwords.  If you are like me then the photos were the most important part of the day.

The best part about the gazebo is you can bring in your own decorations and flowers or you can let nature capture the beauty of the day.

Another option at Claytor Lake State Park is the newly constructed Water’s Edge Marina and Meeting Facility.  This is the perfect place to hold an indoor ceremony or a reception.  A wooden wrap-around deck overlooking the lake and marina also add to the perfect setting.
