There is a rich history of music found throughout Virginia. There are museums, workshops, events and concerts dedicated to music and the cultural significance it brings. Some State Parks even have their own amphitheater for outdoor events. You'll find articles below with all the music happenings in your area.

"When my husband and I were engaged, we took our soon to be "blended" family to Hungry Mother State Park for our first attempt at bringing together our three girls. He has two and I have one. One morning we decided to take the oldest daughter for a hike on Molly's Knob. We did the entire trail and the views were magnificent. More importantly I was able to start that relationship with the oldest daughter that I hold dear twenty-one years later. Thank you Hungry Mother State Park for a memory we'll…"
